We are often requested for three way calls and asked for our secrets on building Ambit Energy from a non-deregulated area and to help put this question to bed here is a video with everything I know and have experienced about the topic. I’m not going to lie… prospecting consultants and gathering energy customers is no easy task when you don’t live in the thick of the action, but it is possible. Ahhh… the old wide versus deep debate!

In Ambit Energy you want to always go wide with personal contacts. By that I mean if somebody is getting into the business because of your efforts you should take them personal. Every time I have tried to stack a personal recruit under somebody else in hopes of motivating them… I have regretted it big time. Now of course you want to work with your group and help them recruit as deep as possible. Working deep ensures a solid and secure business, while working wide is what grows your personal income.

The only thing you owe your team is an example of success. You will never help another achieve by doing it for them. Do not ever do something that cannot be duplicated and stacking personal recruits is not duplicatable at all, especially in this compensation plan where you must personally recruit as you hit new ranks to take advantage of that rank.

There is an old saying “keep it high and tight”, which means that if everybody is sponsoring personals front line and not stacking deep then you will keep a much higher percentage of your team within the 6 generations of customer residual income payout. This benefits the people that are working it instead of spreading out the residual income to people that most likely are not even qualified to get paid on it.

Hi, I’m looking to get some direct insight into the best way to actually build your business. By building I mean is it better to go wide or deep. Now perhaps I should ask that in two parts. One….. what are the benefits of going wide versus deep or vice versa. Two……If one (for example, going wide) benefits me more than my downline, then how can I train my downline to do the same if the premise of the whole business is to help others build their businesses. I’m a big believer in doing what’s best for the “new guy “,because if I help those under me then my success is guaranteed. I’ve heard different people have different approaches to this dilemma. I’m an MC who is trying to plan out the right course of action. Thanks for your attention and your response.
