Steve Thompson is a resident of Austin and Llano Texas and has lived in Austin since the 70s. He ran an insurance agency in Austin for over 30 years but found huge success as a Speaker/Trainer/Coach/Writer while working in the Network Marketing Industry. Because of his success with Ambit Energy, a Dallas based MLM Energy Company, he has chosen to donate the royalty from his new, Amazon #1 Best Selling Book, Relationship Marketing – View From the Top and What It Really Takes to Get There, Steve says that he has been blessed in a business that is all about helping others to succeed and that Financial Freedom allows him to pay it forward. Although this $15,619 donation is 100% of the first month’s royalty, he continues to pledge 1/2 of the royalty to the Food Bank. “The book was written to help people in my industry,” said Steve. “It is nice to have the proceeds help so many more.
I choose to support the Capital Area Food Bank because they are the foundation of the fight against hunger and poor nutrition for those in need. As 96 cents on every dollar goes to feed the hungry and they efficiently move over two million pounds of food a month while stretching every $1 of donation to give out $5 in food, it is a perfect place to concentrate my charitable giving. As a donor, I completely trust the Food Bank to use my donation to help so many people that are not as fortunate as me and giving that way carries with it a lot of confidence and huge satisfaction. As the need goes faster than they can even deliver, I recommend and challenge others that have been blessed in life, to help the Food Bank bless so many others.
I am thankful to have the ability to help. The daily efforts of the thousands of volunteers, that give of their time, is a perfect match for a donors financial support. Please join me in making it possible for the Food Bank to help even more.”
